Stellar POS ("we", "our", or "the app") is a point-of-sale application for merchants. This policy explains what information we access and why.
The app requests camera access solely for barcode scanning (menu items and inventory). Camera images are processed on-device and are never stored or transmitted.
Internet access is required to communicate with our backend servers for order management, payment processing, and real-time updates. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service: store configuration, order data, and staff account credentials. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as required to process payments (Stripe) or send receipts (SendGrid, Twilio).
Order and transaction records are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Stellar POS is designed for business use and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
